THROUGH THE PROCESS
Eu Vi is a mobile and web application designed to help users
report sightings of endangered aquatic animals efficiently. By providing details like location and condition, users ensure
that the appropriate rescue team is notified quickly.
With a strong emphasis on accessibility, Eu Vi features a minimalist interface, clear step-by-step guidance, and offline functionality,
making it easy for lifeguards, beachgoers, local fishermen and animal rescue teams to take immediate action.
Quick, reliable, and impactful—because every rescue matters!
The product design process
The design process followed a structured UX methodology: from research and
competitive analysis to wireframing and usability testing.
Insights from user interviews highlighted the need for a simple
and intuitive reporting system.
Key features include a guided
flow using semaphore colors for animal status, a manual location input,
microphone support, and an interactive dashboard for tracking reports.
Ideation and usability tests
Crazy eights, brainstorms, prototyping and usability tests refined the interface,
resolving pain points
such as confusing labels and excessive floating buttons.
The final product is a responsive and user friendly tool that empowers people to assist in wildlife conservation.
Future improvements include educational tips on handling marine animals, real-time weather updates, and gamification elements to encourage engagement. Eu Vi is not just an app;
it's a step toward environmental awareness and action.
